Three (3) Senior Technical Support Specialists for Deployment of
Defence Software Baseline:
Microtime Inc. is looking for 3 Senior Technicians possessing
expertise in providing direction to on-site deployment teams.
Candidates must have Microsoft Certification in Windows 2000
Professional Edition or Windows 2000 Server. Candidates must
demonstrate experience in this field, and similar Windows 2000
Professional Edition deployments to at least 2 groups larger than 3000
end users. Prior Department of National Defence (DND) experience is
preferred. The key deployment method experience required includes:
Imaging Tools 'Ghost' or 'Drive Image Pro.' Resource Tasks will
include analysis of deployment issues, quality assurance and testing
of scripts and deployment tools, and support to DND/Canadian Forces
(CF) Units - some travel will be required. Successful candidates
must also have:
- Candidates must have a minimum three (3) years experience working
with maintaining and deploying either Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows
2000 Professional or any combination of these Operating Systems in a
client environment of greater then 300 users;
- LAN Management experience in a client environment of greater than
300 users, preferably within DND,
- 1 year experience in a Microsoft NT4.0 server;
- 1 year experience in Novell NetWare;
- Experience in testing VB Script prepared files;
- Demonstrated ability and 3 years experience in working with IT
clients;
- Experience in Network Installation of PC Applications and experience
helping others do so (1st and 2nd line support); and
- Provide a written confirmation of ability to travel to DND/CF sites
throughout National Capital Region (NCR).
Resumes must clearly identify the specific tools as well as the level
and length of experience with each tool or set of tools and a minimum
of two (2) project references are required. A clearance level of
Enhanced Reliability or higher is required and only people who are
based in the National Capital Region will be considered. Bilingualism
