Veritaaq is currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Specialist
for an immediate contract opportunity with our Ottawa Based Federal
Government Client.
Requirements:
- MANDATORY EXPERIENCE with Rational Testing Tools.
- Conduct quality assurance testing of new application projects /
releases that are being developed for deployment.
- COTS Experience.
- Maintain QA environment workstations to acceptable standards and
ensure an appropriate test environment for individual applications.
- Participate in re-building the QA environment workstation to provide
optimum conditions for QA testing.
- Maintain an issue tracking system to record testing results and
maintain metrics on testing outcomes.
The following deliverables will be required for each application that
undergoes quality assurance testing:
- Quality Assurance (QA) Test Plan and Schedule
- Test cases with expected outcomes and appropriate test data.
- Updated Issue Tracking System to record the testing outcomes,
severity and status.
- Quality Assurance Report summarizing results, recommendations, and
risks resulting from the testing phase.
- Recommendations concerning practices and procedures to improve
quality of products at the analysis, design and development stages.
