We are looking for a team-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist.
Job Description
- Work with the Development Group to identify product test requirements.
- Plan, develop and execute effective test plans and test cases.
- Record, analyze, report and follow up on product test results and issues
- Log software defects in the defect tracking system.
- Review specifications and design documents to determine and prepare test specifications and test requirements.
- Maintain testing environments.
Expertise
- College diploma OR university degree in Computer Science
- A minimum of five (5) years relevant testing experience.
- Experience with server platforms is an asset
- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows 2000.
- Comprehensive knowledge of client/server technologies
- Comprehensive knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, Java, HTML)
- Strong writing and communication skills (English)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiasm, energy, and a desire to excel
