The Truth About Homosexuality
If you value your children's future and the future of this great
nation; if you worry that this country is turning away from the Godly
principles it was founded upon, please take time to read this
pamphlet. After thoroughly reading the words contained herein, please
feel free to discuss their meaning with your children, family members,
friends and all those whom you care about. This pamphlet was written
out of love and a genuine concern for the direction this nation has
taken. May God open your eyes and bless you as you read these words.
UNDER ATTACK
Homosexual television programs, "civil unions", gay public schools,
the Episcopalian Church's appointment of an adulterous, practicing
homosexual to a leadership role; these are all signs that a major war
is being waged. Morality and the Godly principles, which this country
was founded on, are under a relentless attack. Everyday new "gay
rights" or "gay advocacy" stories appear in the media. And everyday
this nation sinks further into moral depravity. We cannot let this
continue.
WHO IS ATTACKING?
In a nutshell, the homosexual community as a whole is attacking. Some
of the more widely known groups are GenderPac (A
cross-dressing/transsexual/shemale lobbying group), GLAAD (Gay and
Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation), a group that uses the guise of
civil rights to promote its morally corrupt view of human intimacy,
and GLSEN (Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network), a network of
homosexual educators who are attempting to normalize homosexuality by
manipulating the impressionable mind's of school children.
WHAT ARE THE MEANS OF ATTACK?
There are three major means of attack.
· MANIPULATION · SATURATION · DEMONIZATION
Manipulation involves misrepresenting what the homosexual lifestyle
actually entails, ignoring factual data and in many cases blatantly
lying. One such example of the manipulation can be found in a 1985
report citing gay teen suicide statistics. The paper claimed that as
many as an estimated 3,000 gay teens committed suicide annually.
However, when compared to national teen suicide statistics for that
year, it was found that all teen suicide amounted to only around
2,000. The 3,000 claim was a mathematical impossibility. Another lie
is that homosexuality isn't a chosen behavior. The homosexual crowd
argues that they were born gay. This is a falsity. It is impossible
for a loving God to cruelly assign one with a lifestyle that He
himself calls an abomination. God doesn't create one as homosexual,
just as he doesn't create one as a murderer or a thief. These are
choices that humans make. Homosexual defenders also use the argument
of, "If you say we chose to be homosexual, when did you choose to be
heterosexual?" This question is designed to divert attention from the
homosexual's own immoral behavior and put the heterosexual on the
defensive. The question is answered thusly. One does not choose to be
a heterosexual. Natural law (God's design) dictates that species are
naturally attracted to the opposite sex. This must be so in order to
insure the survival of the species. For a species to survive,
procreation must take place. Procreation (excluding microbes) involves
two sexually opposite partners. Two species of the same sex cannot
procreate. Given this, even if homosexuals try to take God from the
equation, natural law still trumps homosexuality. And yet, the
manipulation continues.
Saturation involves the mass exposure of homosexuality to the public.
We see this on a daily basis. Television shows, Disney's "Gay Day",
gay "pride" months, gay "pride" parades, all are designed to expose or
"saturate" us with the gay lifestyle. The goal of this saturation is
to acclimate the public to the shock of homosexuality. "Safety",
"tolerance", and "diversity" are all buzzwords for this means of
attack. The average person has a natural aversion to homosexual
activity. It is seen as abnormal and degenerative. With daily
bombardments, the gay community hopes to change this mindset into one
of apathy then normalcy and finally acceptance. Take, for example, the
car alarm. When first introduced, a blaring car alarm brought the
attention of nearly all within earshot. Our ears were not accustomed
to the piercing sirens and chirping whistles produced by the deterrent
device. The sounds were out of place when compared to our normal sound
exposure and therefore warranted an investigation. However, with the
passage of time and tens of millions of car alarms later, we are used
to the sounds. Most people barely raise their heads at the sound of a
car alarm (if they even register the sound at all). They have become a
normal, expected part of our lives. This is the exact means by which
homosexuals intend to reach their goal. WE MUST REMAIN VIGILANT!
Demonization is perhaps the most powerful weapon in the gay and
lesbian arsenal. What better way to defeat your enemy than to vilify
him in the eyes of the public? By labeling as Nazis, bigots or
"homophobic" (a made up word whose actual meaning would be ‘a fear of
sameness') anyone who disagrees with them, homosexuals have been
somewhat successful in stifling their opposition. So afraid of the
personal or political ramifications are they that many politicians,
educators and sadly, even religious leaders, refuse to address the
subject at all. Homosexuals have painted Christians, conservatives and
other advocates of traditional moral values as hate-mongers. In the
homosexual's view, anyone who speaks out against his deviant behavior
is guilty of hate speech. This type of name-calling is typical of an
argument that is morally and factually bankrupt. For years school
children have used a similar tactic in their playground quarrels;
calling each other names in order to justify their point and make
themselves feel better. We must not fear labeling. We must embrace it
and consider it as further validation of the justness of our
contrariety.
WHAT ARE THEY AFTER?
Many homosexual advocacy groups state that their purpose is to promote
equality for gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transsexuals, etc. This is yet
another lie. They could not care less about equality. The following is
a quote from Michael Swift, writing in the Boston Gay Community News
in February 1987:
"We shall sodomize your sons, emblems of your feeble masculinity, of
your shallow dreams and vulgar lies. We shall seduce them in your
schools, in your dormitories, in your gymnasiums, in your locker
rooms, in your sports arenas, in your seminaries, in your youth
groups…wherever men are with men together. You sons shall become our
minions and do our bidding. They will be recast in our image. They
will come to crave and adore us."
"All churches who condemn us will be closed. Our holy gods are
handsome young men. …We shall be victorious because we are fueled with
the ferocious bitterness of the oppressed."
Does this sound like a quest for equality? Of course it doesn't,
because it isn't. The true mission of the homosexual community is to
spread their depraved and dangerous lifestyle into as many homes and
families as possible, corrupting the very fabric of our society.
Homosexuality is a rapidly spreading cancer in this nation. Just as
cancer invades healthy cells for its own survival, so too, must
homosexuality invade other lives for its own preservation. Let's put
an end to this cancer now.
WHAT CAN WE DO?
First, realize that to torment or persecute an individual homosexual
is also a sin and will not be tolerated by a most just God. Beating or
murdering someone because he is gay is never justified. Homosexuals,
through the absolute love of Christ, can be saved. Second, educate
yourself and your family on the dangers and reality of homosexuality.
Ignorance is a very powerful tool used by the homosexual community.
Don't let them use it on you! Third, take action! Write your local
newspaper editors and television stations. Talk to your congressmen,
pastors, priests and school educators. Let them know that you will not
tolerate this invasion of homosexuality in our society. Finally, never
compromise your principles. Never give in to outside pressures. The
world will not like what you have to say and will try to humiliate,
embarrass or otherwise discredit you in the eyes of man. Remember that
you do not live by man's standard, but by God's alone. Just as Jesus
never recanted His message, neither should you. May the unchanging and
almighty God keep you and strengthen you for the times that are to
come.
