Our client is an Electronics Engineering organization with 1000+
employees and 40+ offices around the world. Location is in the west

Application Support and Development Specialist - Full Time
Responsibilities:
50% - Provide advice, problem reproduction, diagnosis, code review,
code samples and development workarounds for Software Developers
relating to handheld computers sold by company running CE.net, Windows
and other OS's.
20% - Create or peer-review one or more Knowledge Documents for every
new support engagement from above. These documents will be peer
published to internal employees and customer Extranet to Partners and
Customers. Create or peer-review API and SDK related documentation
and code samples.
10% - Maintain a high level of technical competence in O/S's, SDK's,
API's and development languages provided by company and partners
through self-study, research and coursework.
10% - Investigate, document, and diagnose non-development related
technical problems relating to created by company.
5% - Interface with development support teams, Partner companies, and
OEM manufacturer support groups to resolve technical issues and
maintain feedback to problem originator.
5 % - Provide remote or on-site technical consultations to software
developers, Sales, or various customer personnel with regard to
developing optimal technical solutions which could include both
hardware and custom software.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years diagnosing/troubleshooting applications
Complete understanding of application development as relating to
hardware support
Practical, hands-on experience in developing applications or tools
using C/C++, Java, Visual Basic, embedded MS SDK's, Windows CE, CE
.Net, MS Visual Studio (Visual Studio .NET) and MS.NET architecture
(MS Framework and MS Compact Framework)
