That is also why God made gay people.
Yes God made gay people.
And why did God make gay people?
Because God currently prefers gays as opposed to bigots who are full of hate.

God made bigots too.
And why did God make bigots?
It was a mistake which he is now trying to rectify.

If the latter then that is what a bigot thinks.

What makes you think that gay people do that sort of thing?

Really?

Yes.

And, of course, Gays NEVER, EVER, get fed up with hearing heterocentric claptrap and preaching and in-your-face codswallop thrown at them all the time, do they?

Turning the quesion upside-down to "right for me/right for others" :-

"The Golden Rule is silly. If Lord Alfred Douglas (for example) did to others what he would like them to do to him, many would resent his action."
Aleister Crowley; commentary on The Book of the Law, P36.

(Lord Alfred Douglas was, of course the partner of Oscar Wilde.)

Not quite on-topic, but I've always thought it a classic of bisexuality versus the traditional Christian perspective.

Oh jesus , these people do protest too damn much about nothing. If a newspaper had a postage stamp sized 'gay' announcement on a full sized newspaper page they would jump up and down about it. Fuck them.

Maybe if we didn't have to hide in the fucking closet for all this time we might not be so big a problem for these people to have to put up with.

Anyway I'm sick and tired of all this friggin heterosexuality that gets thrown in our faces.

Seems to be your solution for a lot of things, Paulsy (eg GM supporters). I'm with you on this one, though. Bu it's hard to do what you suggest with people who are jumping up and down.

And I've always wondered why you have to "jump down". I'm content to jump up and let gravity do the other part for me.

It might be the perfect solution thistime. It only takes a taste of forbidden fruit to become a convert.

haha, you're just doing it the lazy way.

"All this in-your-face stuff — every time you pick up a newspaper or turn on the T.V., it's gay, gay, gay all the time. I think the average Joe is saying enough is enough," said Peter Labarbera, senior policy analyst of the Culture and Family Institute (search), which makes no bones about its anti-homosexual agenda.

"That's why God made the remote — if you don't like what's on the television, change the channel," responded David Smith of the Human Rights Campaign (search), a gay-rights advocacy organization.

Rhetoric aside, a recent Gallup Poll (search) suggests that for the first time since the 1980s, support for the gay lifestyle — including the much-discussed idea of same-sex marriages — has begun slipping.

Pollsters acknowledge that recent events have played a role in what might be a "gay backlash."

"There really has been a shift in the population," said Frank Newport, executive editor of the Gallup Poll, which conducted two surveys last month following the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark ruling in June to overturn a Texas law that criminalized gay sex.

In both polls, support for homosexuals dropped markedly from the same survey conducted in May. Across nearly every demographic group — including age, religion, income, race and region of the country — Gallup reported a "dramatic reversal" in what had been increasing tolerance over the last few decades.

Here, here! I feel good knowing I'm just an average Joe.

Quite so. I don't have a god but I think "sticking penises up other people's bum holes" is just plain bad marksmanship.

Sadly, I didn't dream that one up - it's from Esquire's Dubious Achievements list, from many years ago.
