JOB DESCRIPTION:This position provides an excellent opportunity
to be part of the Enterprise Management team responsible for
managing firm wide global systems and networks. Working with
several highly integrated monitoring software systems like BMC
patrol, Net I/Q, MOM, Tivoli, NerveCenter, NetCool, ICE and other
snmp based monitoring tools which utilize various Databases and
Web server technologies. EMS Engineers and develops solutions to
provide monitoring for the Firms' systems being part of this team
you will be responsible for design, development, integration,
documentation and support for the management infrastructure
engineered to monitor the firms' resources. Occasional
troubleshooting and off-hour support are required as part of the
teams support rotation. TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:The candidate
must have experience with Systems Management Software like BMC
patrol, Net I/Q, MOM, Tivoli, NerveCenter and NetCool. The
candidate should also have experience with engineering third
party software product solutions and must be able to provide
creative input and implementation solutions, which allow
disparate systems to seamlessly communicate with one another.
Meeting with Sales, Engineering and Vendor support personnel are
required. Knowledge of scripting languages like Shell and Perl,
and a working knowledge of relational database technology like
Sybase are also required. Application development sills,
knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Java and HTML are
a plus. We are also interested in any fast learner who can
demonstrate the ability to learn any of the above.NON-TECHNICAL
SKILLS REQUIRED:Excellent written and oral communication skills
are a must. Experience with Microsoft products including Word,
Excel and Visio is required. Excellent documentation skill is a
must.
