This is a GIS position within CIB technology.Responsibilities to
include: Support the Smart II system monthly production cycle.
Develop solutions to business and systems problems. Trouble
shoot programming and data errors. Provide maintenance support
intra-day, overnight, and weekends as needed. Provide SMART II
development support to the Latin American Regional Financial
Center, in the roll out of SMART II and Flexcube to all
countries. Analyze business requirements to produce program
functional specifications, Estimates, Project plans and
schedules, and implementation plans. Write program code to
fulfill technical requirements. Prepare test plans and
associated documentation to the required audit standard. Test
new releases of software. Provide technical support and user
training on new enhancements. Participate in Global monitoring
of Smart II in Europe/Asia off cycle.Requirements to include:
Technical expertise in SQL and relational databases (Sybase
preferred). A minimum of five years programming experience in
one or more of the following disciplines: SQR, Unix, Sybase,
Uniface, VMS, C or C++. Experience doing production support for
a financial control application. Ability to work well both
independently and as a team player. Willingness to provide
production support nights and weekends (must be available for
systems emergencies 24/7). BA/BS degree in information science
or Computer science or equivalent experience. Strong analytical
skills and problem solving abilities. Strong verbal and written
communication skills. Time management skills (with a focus on
meeting deadlines). Good organizational skills.
