In this position you will complete the patient registration
process for inpatient stays. Collects, analyzes, and records
demographics, insurance financial and clinical data from multiple
sources, and obtains other information and signatures consents
necessary for scheduling, registration, billing and coding. You
will also screen for compliance with payer requirements for
medical necessity and precertification, and completes third party
eligibility and benefit verification.
<P><B>Qualifications</b><br>This is a full time temporary
position scheduled to work Sunday through Thursday 12:00 noon -
8:30 pm. We require a high school diploma, Associates degree
preferred. Must demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and
a basic understanding of diagnosis and procedure coding
conventions. AAHAM or NAHAM certification preferred.</p>
