Description of Duties and Responsibilities:
· Candidate will primarily have critical involvement in the assessment and
review of critical R&D systems, while assisting in the development of
departmental quality systems, interacting with scientific and QA teams.
· Overall, individual will be key in establishing and identifying new
approaches for managing instrumentation, compliance, and other various key
systems within R&D.
Requirements:
· BS/MS in scientific discipline (Analytical Chemistry preferred) with 3-5
years relevant experience focused on analytical support of drug development.
· Candidate should posses strong ability to manage multiple projects while
staying up to date with latest industry trends (both technological and
compliance related).
· Candidate would need a strong understanding of lab GMP's, SOP's, FDA trends,
USP, instrumentation, calibration and maintenance programs and the drug
development processes.
· Candidate should have strong communication and writing skills, while also
being effective at managing projects in a fast paced environment.
· Knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques and new technologies such as
HPLC, GC, Dissolution, Near-IR as well as knowledge of various software
packages, Data Acquisition Systems, LIMS, instrument and software validation is
essential.
